Extremely low carb recipe for simple mini-meatballs with a tangy red sauce.
Ingredients450 gr lean ground beef (10% fat)1 egg, lightly beaten 1 piece Bread, multigrain, torn into small pieces 1/4 cup whole milk 1/3 cup fresh onion, finely chopped 1 tsp salt (optional) 1/2 tsp Sauce, worcestershire, low sodium 1/2 cup unsweetened ketchup 1/2 cup fresh chopped onion 1/3 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener, granulated 1/3 cup vinegar 1 tbsp Sauce, worcestershire, low sodium 1/8 tsp black pepper Directions1 Mix together beef, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Form mixture into one inch spheres.2 Place meatballs in a frying pan and cook over medium heat until browned. 3 Mix together ketchup, onion, sugar substitute, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Spoon sauce over meatballs. 4 Move pan to a 180C oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
