Microwave Jacket Potatoes recipe
An easy foolproof recipe for Microwave Jacket Potatoes - so easy the kids can cook it themselves.

Ingredients

2 medium size unpeeled potatoes, washed
Ina Paarman's Potato Spice
1 x 200 g Ina Paarman's Cheese or Mushroom Ready to Serve Sauce

Directions

Cut a cross through the skin of the top 'flat' side of each potato. Push three toothpicks deeply into the underside to form 'legs'. These lift the potato for better microwave penetration. They are also a fool proof indication of when the potatoes are cooked. When the legs collapse, the potato is done.

Place the potatoes in the microwave - position them closer to the outer perimeter of the turntable. Cook for 5 minutes, on High. If the legs have not collapsed, cook for a further 2 minutes.

Take the potatoes out with a dry dishcloth and squeeze them hard on both sides so that the cross opens up wide and the cooked potato squeezes out. Season lightly with Potato Spice.

Place on a plate. Snip the corner of the pack of sauce and squeeze a generous amount over each potato. Delicious with a salad and some milk or juice.
