Naan Bread recipe
Recipe for Naan Bread - a flat bread served with curries and stews.

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons instant dry yeast
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups water
30 grams butter

Directions

Combine ingredients to form a dough and allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.

Punch dough down and divide it into 10 parts. Roll each into a thin circle. Brush one side with water.

Spray griddle with olive oil spray. Or use a grill, charcoal if you have one. This will aid in achieving some burnt spots and will vastly improve the texture.

Put circles on hot griddle, watered side up.

Cook until half done-lightly browned, about three minutes.

Transfer to a cookie sheet.

Bake in 400F/200C degree oven until done (about 5 to 10 minutes) or use grill for about 1 minute to finish cooking.

Enjoy
